Alternative to Alcohol
I started detoxifying yesterday (Monday) - there's usually too much adrenalin and nervous brain energy left over at the end of the day so a little alcohol is one of the best ways to wind down. But considering I have an addictive personality, that kind of dependence isn't very healthy at all, so I'm laying off those nightcaps for a while. And, in their stead, resorting to other methods to exhaust my hyperactive neurons and consequently allow them to put the rest of my body to sleep. Such as memes to allow me to meme na (pardon the corny pun - spirit of Lex, begone!).I am tired and need to get to bed but I'm not sleepy yet.
I want to have time to do all the stuff I need to do - or to iron out my schedule.
I wish I could lose some more weight! Tomorrow is another South Beach Diet day - sigh.
I hate slow trucks, tricycles on the highway, typhoons, and all of the above when driving through Tarlac. Grr.
I love it when a plan comes together. Especially a good party plan. :-)
I miss the leisurely pace of BC and fixing the house up there.
I fear losing direction and purpose.
I hear this not-so-funny standup comic going through his routine on Conan.
I wonder what wonders tomorrow will bring. Hehe.
I regret wasting too much time with people who were wasting their time, and mine.
I am so tired of excuses!!
I dance when the occasion calls for it.
I sing quite hoarsely at the moment; a couple of weeks spent battling with laryngitis and various respiratory problems.
I cry very easily, when moved.
I am not likely to take up any kind of competitive sport in the near future...or ever.
I make really good kare-kare.
I write mainly for self-expression. Doing it as a real "job" isn't half as fun.
I confuse myself, most of the time.
I need to take my own advice, especially when it comes to relationships. And I think I need to get myself one of those things too.
I should probably un-busy myself a little bit.
I start really, really slow in the morning.
I finish what I start, most of the time.
I tag YOU, if you're reading this.
