Monday
Mondays are my days-off - can't really drive anywhere because of color coding, and I usually take this time to catch up on sleep and prepare for Thursday's talks at a leisurely pace. And do some other stuff that I've neglected over the last week. Today was a particularly "productive" day, even if most of the things I ended up doing are extremely trivial in the eyes of the world (but they had to get done, one way or another). It's almost 6 p.m., and by far I've managed to:* Make kare-kare that's long been overdue, and a pot of chili on the side (hindi bagay, but I had leftover beans from last week's minestrone so what the heck)
* Give myself a henna/hair spa treatment. No way am I going to pay a parlor P1500 (although for years that's what I always ended up doing) to do something that I can do myself for less than a tenth of that price! And I get the same results, while doing chores that I can't do while being held hostage in a salon (like cooking kare-kare and chili, hehe).
* Fix the doggone bluetooth software program and get the dongle finally working again...and download ring tones and message tones and play around with the neat features of my once-dead phone (features that are totally wasted on tekkie-retards like myself).
* Write this blog entry. Wahoo!
Next on the list - catch up on my DVD backlog, and then jump into bed with Alain, and maybe Pico. Uh, before anyone gets any ideas, scroll down to my previous post. :-P
